The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has reported that Dangote Refinery supplied them fuel for N898 per litre.
NNPCL began loading on Sunday after it had transferred a total of some 300 trucks into the Lagos-based 650,000-capacity refinery.
Its spokesman, Olufemi Soneye, has now explained the price it bought it.
“We were able to successfully load PMS at the Dangote Refinery today”, Soneye told The Daily Trust.
“The insinuation that we bought it for N760 per litre is not true.
“For this maiden delivery, the price at the refinery was N898 per litre.”
No less than 70 trucks have so far been loaded.
