On Tuesday, the official market saw the naira trade at the same rate of N1,339.33 to the dollar.
The naira stayed unchanged, according to data from the FMDQ Exchange, the official trading platform that regulates the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market, or NAFEM.
This showed that, as it swapped for the same amount of N1,339.33 to the dollar on Monday and Tuesday, the local currency neither increased nor decreased in value.
On Tuesday, however, the amount of currency transacted rose to $328.32 million from Monday’s $180.80 million total.
According to NAN, the naira fluctuated between N1,506.00 and N1,150.00 vs the dollar at the Investor’s and Exporter’s window.
