NNPC Reports N45.1tn Revenue, N5.4tn Profit for 2024

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has released its full-year 2024 financial results, showing a profit after tax of N5.4 trillion from a total revenue of N45.1 trillion.

The figures were shared on Monday in a statement issued by the company’s Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Andy Odey.

According to the report, the N45.1 trillion revenue marks an 88 per cent increase compared to the previous year, while the N5.4 trillion profit after tax reflects a 64 per cent year-on-year rise.

The statement also revealed that the state-owned energy firm recorded earnings per share of N27.07, representing a 64 per cent growth from the previous year.

Alongside the financial disclosure, the company presented its strategic roadmap designed to sustain long-term growth and advance Nigeria’s energy transition agenda through 2030.

The roadmap places emphasis on boosting oil and gas output and includes a $60 billion investment plan covering multiple segments of the energy sector.

“The earnings highlight the positive momentum of our ongoing transformation and the unwavering commitment of our workforce,” said Bashir Bayo Ojulari, Group Chief Executive Officer.

“They offer a solid foundation for the ambitious growth ahead, in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s mandate, and reaffirm our commitment to delivering value to Nigerians.”
