Saudia Extends Flight Suspension to Several Citie

Saudi Arabia’s national carrier, Saudia, has announced an extension of the suspension of its flights to several cities, including Amman, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Doha, Bahrain, Moscow and Peshawar.

In a statement issued on March 4, the airline said the flight cancellations will remain in effect for an additional two days, lasting until 23:59 GMT on March 6.

The airline explained that the decision was taken as a precautionary measure due to the prevailing situation.

According to Saudia, it is closely tracking developments through its emergency coordination centre while working alongside relevant authorities to ensure the safety of passengers and the smooth running of operations.

The airline also noted that travellers affected by the cancellations will be notified through the contact information provided during their bookings.

Passengers were advised to confirm the status of their flights before heading to the airport.

Saudia expressed appreciation to customers for their understanding, noting that the circumstances are beyond its control, and assured that further updates will be communicated through its official channels.
