The 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) is all set to begin on April 24, following a date change from April 25.
The adjustment was made to accommodate the schedule of JAMB and its partnering agencies.
This information was shared in a statement from JAMB’s Public Communications Advisor, Fabian Benjamin.
In preparation for the exam, Benjamin informed prospective candidates that they can now print their Notification Slips. These slips contain crucial details regarding the examination.
The Notification Slip includes important information such as the exam date, venue, time, and other essential instructions to ensure candidates are fully prepared for the exam.
JAMB has advised candidates to start printing their Notification Slips “today, Saturday, April 19, 2025.” This will give them sufficient time to make any necessary arrangements and access their assigned exam centres within their chosen towns.
How to Print Your Notification Slip
JAMB has also provided guidance on how candidates can print their Notification Slips. The procedure is as follows: “Visit www.jamb.gov.ng, click on “2025 UTME Slip Printing,” enter your registration number, and click on “Print Examination Slip.”
Candidates are strongly advised to print their slips and take time to familiarize themselves with their exam centres at least one or two days ahead of the exam. This will help ensure a smooth and stress-free experience on the big day.
Examination Schedule
To clarify once more, the 2025 UTME will officially begin on Thursday, April 24, 2025. Candidates are encouraged to print their Examination Notification Slips at least one day before the exam to confirm their exam date and location, which will make accessing their centres on exam day easier.
JAMB also reminded candidates that they will be assigned to centres within their chosen towns, and no candidate will be assigned to a centre outside their selected town.
