JAMB Releases 2025 Mock UTME Results

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of the results for the 2025 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), which was conducted on Thursday, April 10.

According to a statement issued by JAMB’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, candidates can check their results by sending “MOCKRESULT” via SMS to either 55019 or 66019 using the phone number they registered with for the examination.

JAMB clarified that the mock UTME is optional and serves as an opportunity for candidates to familiarize themselves with the computer-based test (CBT) environment and experience the board’s yearly innovations ahead of the main examination.

The statement revealed that a total of 200,115 candidates initially expressed interest in the mock exam, but two candidates later withdrew, bringing the total number of registered candidates to 200,113. Of those registered, 73,844 candidates were absent on the examination day, and 88 candidates failed the biometric verification process.

In total, 126,181 candidates successfully took the mock examination, and results for 115,735 candidates are now available for viewing.

Additionally, results for 10,446 candidates are still being processed and will be released soon.

JAMB also acknowledged the delays some candidates faced during the mock exam and expressed regret over the inconvenience.

The board attributed the disruptions to the introduction of new features aimed at improving the main UTME.
