NCAOOSCE: All children should have access to education

The National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children’s Education, or NCAOOSCE, has reaffirmed its dedication to making sure that every child has the chance to realize their full potential regardless of their circumstances or background.

In a statement released in honor of 2024 Children’s Day, which has as its subject “For Every Child, Every Right,” Dr. Muhammad Idris, Executive Secretary of the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children’s Education, revealed this.

According to Dr. Idris, the celebration’s theme aligns with the commission’s goal of making sure all Almajiri and out-of-school youth have access to high-quality education and an opportunity to succeed.

He stated that every child has a right to healthcare, education, safety, and a supportive environment in which to flourish.

In his words, “I reaffirm our commitment to addressing these issues and making sure that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of their background or circumstances.”

He noted that the government agency has been given the mandate and is equipped to provide quality education for Almajiri and out-of-school children as well as integrate Western education into the curricula of Almajiri schools, while also urging stakeholders to join the agency in its mission to ensure that every child has access to a quality education.
