Popular Afrobeats artist Skales has spoken candidly about experiencing betrayal from fellow musicians whom he once supported in their journey to stardom.
Skales expressed disappointment that several artists he previously helped had turned their backs on him, though he remained grateful for divine support during challenging times.
Taking to his official X account, Skales shared:
“One day I’ll sit down and tell you a story of how a lot of people turned their backs on me, including people I helped build up in this industry. But guess what? God never failed me even when I was isolated… Don’t you ever stop praying and trusting God with everything you’ve got… Best advice my mom gave me!!!”
Skales emphasized the importance of faith and persistent prayer, reflecting on advice passed down by his late mother.
