Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has spoken about a private relationship in her life, admitting that she currently finds herself uncertain about what direction it should take.
While appearing on a recent episode of Rock Nation’s The Intern series, the singer explained that her song Where Do We Go was inspired by that relationship and the internal struggle over whether to keep it private or make it public.
“‘Where Do We Go’ is inspired by a private relationship. Are we going to stay hidden or come out to the world? I’m kind of like in the middle so like where do we go,” she expressed.
During the same appearance, Ayra Starr also shared that if she ever had the opportunity to intern for someone, it would be global superstar Rihanna.
“If I have to intern for anyone it would be Rihanna. I would get the coffee. Anything she wants me to do, I will do it,” she said.
The singer has previously mentioned in several interviews that Rihanna has been her childhood idol and one of the biggest influences behind her decision to pursue a career in music.
