During a recent episode of the CreativiTEA podcast hosted by Lynda, Doyinsola Anuoluwapo David, better known as Doyin, revealed that she portrayed a fake persona during her first appearance on the reality show in 2022.
Reflecting on her experience, Doyin confessed, “My first run wasn’t my best run, to be honest. I came out with the narrative that Doyin is too mature, always trying to talk things out; that’s not really me. In real life, I’m more confrontational.”
The reality star also shared a setback from her career, recounting how a brand terminated her contract due to an interview she gave. “There is no bad or good brand. I had a brand that dropped me after signing and paying me, asking for a refund because of my interview. To be fair, I understand why they did it,” she explained.
Doyin, who returned for the All Stars edition last year, faced criticism for being overly talkative. Following her eviction, she criticized Nigerians for not being ready for reality TV, alleging that her outspoken nature led to fans voting against her.
