Popular Nigerian content creator and influencer Broda Shaggy has reportedly been hospitalised after sustaining a gunshot injury in Ogun State.
The incident allegedly occurred on Sunday while he was filming a scene at the Sango Ota Bridge.
Details surrounding the shooting are still unclear. After the incident, he was initially taken to a private hospital in the Alakuko area of Lagos State before being referred to another medical facility in Ikeja for further treatment.
The Lagos State Police Command confirmed that it became aware of the case after receiving a report from the hospital where he was first taken.
Abimbola Adebisi, the Lagos State police spokesperson, explained that the incident was reported by the hospital.
“The hospital reported to the command that a gunshot victim was brought to their facility, and we discovered it was Broda Shaggy when we visited the hospital”, The Sun reported.
