Burna Boy, the Grammy-winning Nigerian singer whose real name is Damini Ogulu, has made history as the first African artiste to earn over $1 million from a single concert in Oceania.
The milestone was achieved during the Sydney stop of his “No Sign Of Weakness” tour at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia, on October 18, 2025. The concert grossed $1.117 million, marking a record for an African act in the region.
According to the global tour monitoring platform Touring Data, Burna Boy’s “No Sign Of Weakness” tour also set a new record as the highest-grossing tour by an African artist in Oceania, generating $3.1 million from 31,000 tickets sold across four shows.
Data released by the platform showed that the Australian leg of the tour sold 30,946 tickets across the four shows at an average ticket price of $100.94, with an average revenue of $772,791 per show.
The “No Sign Of Weakness” tour featured 20 shows across three continents—North America, Europe, and Oceania.
With the achievement, Burna Boy has become the first African artist in history to gross over $1 million from a single concert in three different continents.
