The ex-husband to actress Tonto Dike, known as Olakunle Churchill, has confirmed his reconciliation with the actress ten years after they were married to each other.
Tonto Dike had earlier announced their reconciliation, which she said was a conclusion of a decade-long series of public dissensions.
His reaction to her post, contended on his Instagram page on Sunday, read, “The conflict is behind us.”
“Reconciling after being separated for all these years, I would say that while I want to reconnect with my son, it is not to reconnect on an intimate level, but on a parent level because I am also his parent
“I was surprised having received my first call from my own son, where my child called me “Daddy.” This was very touching, knowing that what God cannot do does not exist—is touching. However, the war is behind us now, as we look forward to co-parenting in love, with care, and in concert, pursuing an objective of bringing our child along with us in peace with God helping me along the way.”
The actress, who was rumoured to have left Churchill just under two years after they married, officially filed for divorce in July 2017 on grounds of infidelity and domestic abuse.
After their much-talked-about split, this couple is often seen picking online fights.
