Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, a leading disc jockey and daughter of Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola, became the first Nigerian to anchor the opening session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
Cuppy moderated the Youth Action Day at the 2024 UNGA titled: “The Summit of the Future – Youth Actions Day.”
Cuppy also performed musically right after her keynote address.
Her session was the largest gathering of youth at the UN Headquarters ever.
The other attendees of the workshop include UN Assistant Secretary-General for Youth Affairs and Cape Verde’s president, José Maria Neves.
