Popular Nigerian actress and producer Funke Akindele has emphasized that achieving success requires a willingness to put in the hard and sometimes gritty work.
Speaking on the ‘WithChude’ podcast, Akindele highlighted that doing the “dirty work” is a necessary part of building a successful career.
In addition to perseverance, she pointed to hard work and a strong sense of duty as essential ingredients for personal and professional accomplishments.
Revealing the secret behind her remarkable success, Akindele stated, “Let me say that a lot of people want to do what I am doing, but I keep telling them: for you to be successful, you need to work hard and do the dirty work.”
She added that despite her current acclaim in the film industry, she refuses to rest on her laurels. Instead, she remains grounded, focused, and committed to continuous improvement.
