Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, widely known as Odumodublvck, has opened up on the reason behind his controversial diss aimed at President Bola Tinubu in his song ‘Vex’.
The rapper revealed on Thursday that his decision to criticize Tinubu was rooted in his loyalty to Peter Obi, the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate.
However, Odumodublvck shared that the move has come at a personal cost, attracting backlash from fans and critics alike.
He has now called on Peter Obi to publicly support his latest project, ‘The Machine Is Coming,’ as a way to restore their connection.
Taking to his X handle, the rapper wrote:
“Peter Obi, I even dissed Tinubu for you. Now, because of you, the people are spitting on me and my legacy.
Tweet The Machine Is Coming to rekindle and redeem our friendship, sir.
Do not listen to them. Listen to your heart.
The Machine Is Coming.”
The outspoken artist is known for his politically charged lyrics and bold stances, and this latest callout has added to his reputation as a fearless voice in the Nigerian music scene.
As of the time of this report, Peter Obi has not responded publicly to the message.
