King Charles III Admits Davido’s Music Made Him Love Pidgin English

British King Charles III has admitted to his love for Nigerian artist Davido, saying that his songs motivated him to study Pidgin English personally.

King Charles has expressed a strong desire to speak Pidgin the next time he goes to Nigeria.

The king made this known in his new Apple Music series, The King’s Music Room, which was released on Monday.

During the broadcast, he revealed his eclectic musical interests, mentioning Davido’s song Kante, which features Fave, as one of his favourites.

“Davido has made me love Pidgin language. I would like to speak it the next time I visit Nigeria. Thanks to Afrobeats, it’s becoming more popular around the world,” Charles III stated.

Davido, via his Instagram story, reposted the video as he gave a shout-out to the royal family.
