Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, better known as Portable, has publicly called out his colleague Burna Boy for ignoring his attempts to reach out after the Grammy-winning artist gifted him N20 million.
In a new video circulating on social media, Portable expressed his dissatisfaction, stating that he needs more from Burna Boy than just the cash gift.
Burna Boy had gifted Portable N20 million following his victory over Speed Darlington in a recent celebrity boxing match in Lagos.
However, despite the generous gesture, Portable feels that Burna Boy’s lack of communication is a bigger issue.
In the video, Portable explained that while the money was appreciated, what he truly wants is a collaboration with Burna Boy on a song. He lamented that Burna Boy has been ignoring his messages and calls.
Portable said, “Burna Boy gave me 20 million naira, but he won’t reply my DMs on Instagram, pick my calls, or even link me. I don’t even have his number. The 20M will finish — what I really need from him is a verse. Why are you so stingy with your replies?”
