Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw disapproves of the present administration’s choice to play the previous national anthem again.
She criticized the timing of the move in particular, asking how the nation’s suffering would be addressed by going back to the traditional song.
The actor bemoaned the “excoriating hardship and lack of good governance on every level” that the nation is currently experiencing.
She jokingly posted on her X (Formerly Twitter) handle, saying, “Going back to a colonial anthem will be a soothing balm and inject patriotism back into our veins, a much needed drug, in the midst of excoriating hardship & lack of good governance on every level but not to worry.”
Kate Henshaw wrote, “The labor of our heroes past… o ti lo [is gone],” in another post.
