Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has spoken about how an emotional reconciliation with her child’s father, Olakunle Churchill-ex-husband, went down after close to a decade of public disagreement, estrangement, and personal turmoil.
The actress shared the testimony on her official Instagram page on Saturday and credited the renewed relationship to divine intervention.
Dikeh explained in her post that what once appeared “ugly, impossible, and beyond repair” has now been turned into a bond marked by peace and mutual respect.
“What human effort couldn’t repair, God healed through salvation, humiliation, and innocent child prayers,” she wrote.
She stressed that the reconciliation happened “not by might, not by wisdom, not by strength but by the Spirit of the Lord,” adding, God “softens hearts, silences the enemy, and rewrites stories that looked finished.”
Dikeh then added that she was thankful to Churchill, who chose peace and allowed God’s word, since at times, obedience to the Lord of our lives brings restoration even over prolonged and painful seasons.
The actress then addressed her followers and encouraged others dealing with similar situations to keep hope alive, saying, “God has not abandoned you. Your story is not over. What He has started, He will surely perfect. Keep praying. Keep choosing love. Keep trusting God even when it hurts.”
She also extended an olive branch to her spiritual mentor, stating that the advice and advice itself was important for her personal development and to survive during the worst moments.
