A devastating road accident in Chiromawa Village, located in Garun Mallam Local Government Area of Kano State, resulted in the deaths of 15 individuals, leaving another 10 injured on Thursday.
The incident was first disclosed by security analyst Zagazola Makama on Friday.
Reports citing intelligence sources explained that the accident happened around 3:20 p.m. when a white Toyota Liteace bus, registered as NSR 188 KP and carrying 25 passengers, collided with a stationary blue Daf trailer with registration KMC 158 XW parked along the roadside.
“The bus driver lost control and crashed into a stationary trailer, resulting in multiple casualties,” Makama wrote.
Emergency services swiftly responded to the incident, transporting the victims to Kura General Hospital.
Tragically, the bus driver and 14 passengers were pronounced dead upon arrival, while 10 survivors are currently receiving medical attention for their injuries.
Authorities have not yet made an official statement regarding the accident.
