300 Trucks In Dangote Refinery To Lift Petrol On Sunday – NNPC

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited, on Saturday said that about 300 trucks had already arrived at the Dangote Refinery in anticipation of loading petrol.

It added that the first cargo of petrol would be loaded from Dangote Refinery on Sunday.

The company’s Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Olufemi Soneye made the announcement of the arrival of trucks at the refinery via X.

Soneye said: “Trucks belonging to NNPC Ltd. have arrived at the Dangote Refinery in readiness for the scheduled loading of petroleum products on Sunday, September 15, 2024.

“By close of today, at least 300 trucks will be stationed at the fuel-loading gantry of the refinery.”

In like vein, NNPC said trucks had been mobilised to the refinery in readiness for the cargo on Sunday.

NNPC Ltd. said it had mobilized trucks to the Dangote Refinery’s petroleum loading gantry in Ibeju-Lekki, in preparation for the refinery’s first petrol loading scheduled for Sunday, September 15, 2024.

“As of Saturday afternoon, NNPC Ltd. has deployed above a hundred trucks, while hundreds of others are en route,” the company said on X.

Aliko Dangote, the Chairman of the Dangote Group, announced the commencement of manufacturing petroleum products last Monday.
