Gunmen bandits made a fatal raid on Kaguwa village in Kurfi Local Government Area of Katsina State on Wednesday night, killing some residents, kidnapping five individuals, including girls, and rustling hundreds of livestock.
Bakatsine, a security analyst, reported the attack on Thursday.
The attackers entered the environment in large groups and shot sporadically, he said.
“Bandits raided Kaguwa community in Kurfi LGA, Katsina State, last night. They killed some people, abducted five of them who are including girls, and rustled a huge number of livestock,” he claimed.
The government has yet to issue an official statement on the attack.
