Ekiti Govt Launches Training for 100 Youths in Meter & Electrical Installation

The Ekiti State Government is set to launch a six-day training program for 100 youths in the state, focusing on meter and basic electrical installation.

According to a statement from the Office of the Ekiti State Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment, Otunba Kayode Fasae, the training will begin on Monday, 17 March, at the Government Technical College in Ado-Ekiti.

The program is scheduled to start at 9 am and will run until Saturday, 22 March 2025.

The commissioner highlighted that this initiative, organized by his ministry in collaboration with the Ekiti State Electricity Regulatory Bureau, aims to equip young people with essential skills in meter installation and other fundamental electrical tasks.

The goal is to provide participants with the knowledge and practical expertise needed to excel in the electrical installation field.
