Chief Patrick Adaba, former Deputy Governor of Kogi State, born in 1946, is dead at the age of 79 years.
His death was found by our correspondent in a family source.
He was gathered from reports to have died after a long illness.
After completing secondary education, he was admitted to Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, and upon graduation in 1971, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science along with a double graduate certificate of teaching.
Upon finishing secondary school, he went to Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History and a joint graduate certificate of teaching in 1971.
Adaba served in various positions before being appointed Secretary to the State Government during Prince Abubakar Audu’s first term as Governor of Kogi State.
He was re-elected in 2003 on a bipartisan platform that brought Prince Abubakar Audu back to Lugard House as the State Governor.
