A renewed wave of insecurity struck Katsina State on Monday night as armed bandits invaded Rairaye community in Radda district, Charanchi Local Government Area.
The attack left one person injured and resulted in the rustling of a large number of cattle.
The incident was revealed by a prominent security analyst, Bakatsine, in a post shared on Tuesday via his X (formerly Twitter) handle.
“Last night, bandits stormed Rairaye in Radda district, Charanchi LGA, Katsina State. One person was injured and a large number of cattle were rustled. This is yet another blow as communities across Katsina continue to face growing insecurity,” Bakatsine posted.
At the time of filing this report, the Katsina State Police Command had not released an official statement concerning the attack.
This incident adds to the escalating challenges of security in Katsina State, where communities are increasingly targeted by criminal elements, heightening fears among residents and raising urgent concerns about regional safety measures.
