At least four students were kidnapped from Paris Quarters, which is located behind the Federal University in Dutsinma, Katsina State.
Zagazola Makama, a counter-insurgency expert specializing in the Lake Chad region, revealed this on Sunday in a post on his X account.
Makama says the attack took place around 2:20 a.m. on Sunday, when the attackers, who were said to be in large numbers, entered the neighborhood quietly and abducted four people.
The victims, the report says, are Wali Kayode, Fahad Muhammad, Emmanuel (whose last name is not known), and an unknown person.
“Security operatives were mobilized to the scene immediately after receiving a distress call but the bandits had fled,” Makama recounted.
He explained that security authorities reported that an operation was ongoing to locate the abductors and free the hostages safely.
