Iran Strikes Claim Lives of Six US Troops – CENTCOM

At least six United States soldiers have died in retaliatory strikes carried out by Iran.

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed the fatalities in a statement posted on its X account on Monday night.

CENTCOM stated that the identities of the deceased will remain undisclosed until their families have been notified.

“Six U.S. service members have been killed in action. U.S. forces recently recovered the remains of two previously unaccounted-for service members from a facility that was struck during Iran’s initial attacks in the region,” the US military said.

“Major combat operations continue. The identities of the fallen are being withheld until 24 hours after next of kin notification.”

The command had earlier reported that four United States service members had tragically lost their lives.
