Iranian state media confirmed on Sunday that Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed in strikes carried out by Israel and United States.
GenLoaded had previously reported that the attack occurred on Saturday, targeting Iran.
Khamenei was born on April 19, 1939, in Mashhad, in eastern Iran. He was one of the Islamist figures who played a key role in the 1979 revolution that toppled the US-backed Shah, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi.
Donald Trump stated that Khamenei “was unable to avoid our Intelligence and Highly Sophisticated Tracking Systems and, working closely with Israel, there was not a thing he, or the other leaders that have been killed along with him, could do.”
