A man in Adamawa State has died by suicide after hanging himself in a quiet neighborhood.
The incident happened in Doubeli, a residential community in Jimeta, part of Yola North Local Government Area. Residents found the man’s body hanging from a tree near the Sauki Transport Motor Park at Doubeli Junction.
Authorities have not yet identified the deceased, and no suicide note was left behind. However, many believe the ongoing economic crisis and personal struggles may have contributed to his tragic decision.
When contacted for comment, the police had not released an official statement by Saturday afternoon. Suleiman Nguroje, the state Police Public Relations Officer, only confirmed that “the state police command has commenced an investigation into the situation.”
