Executive Secretary, Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has called on prospective Christian pilgrims to help make Nigeria work.
While inaugurating the departure of the 12th batch of pilgrims to Israel and Jordan on Thursday in Abuja and Lagos, Adegbite noted that pilgrims should behave in a manner worthy of their Christian name, dignity, and should be good ambassadors of Nigeria and Christ.
The batch was led by Ogun State pilgrims and officials from the consulate.
Adegbite restated the commission’s zero-absconding stance, calling on the pilgrims to be dedicated to the task and avoid actions that could tarnish the country’s image.
He also called on them to pray for the success of the Renewed Hope Agenda of the government, an agenda that is consistent with the pilgrimage’s theme.
