The Nigeria Police Council (NPC) has officially confirmed Tunji Disu as the Inspector-General of Police (IGP).
The confirmation took place on Monday during a meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
GENLOADED recalls that President Bola Tinubu appointed Disu as acting IGP on February 24, 2026, following the resignation of Kayode Egbetokun.
The President officially decorated him the next day, February 25.
