Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has revealed that despite his anointing, he continues to avoid sexual temptations.
Adeboye, citing the destruction of biblical Samson, warned men and women to be wary of lust and to avoid wicked appearances.
Adeboye addressed the Ministers and Workers Conference of the RCCG Americas 1.
According to Adeboye, “Someone wonders, at your age, why are you still running? I run faster than previously because the closer you get to the finish line, the more attentive you need to be.
“Some of you can ask, ‘Daddy, what are you saying, are you still running?'” I run quickly.
“With all your anointing?” Does anointing convert your body into stone? Samson was anointed. He single-handedly murdered a thousand soldiers. A woman completed him. I hope the boys are listening.
“You can ask, ‘Is anybody still interested in an 82-year-old man?'” She isn’t interested in you, but in putting an end to all the wonderful things God has accomplished through you.
“You see that woman smiling at you everywhere you go, she is there smiling, and she is not your wife, run.”
