Russia Hits Ukraine With 88 Drones, 4 Injured

Russia has launched a series of drone strikes against Ukraine in an overnight attack, injuring at least four people and causing significant damage to residential and commercial buildings in Kyiv and other regions of the country.

Ukraine’s air force reported that 56 of the 88 Russian drones were successfully intercepted, with an additional 24 drones being redirected using electronic warfare tactics.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed that three people were injured in the capital due to the drone attacks. He also mentioned that drone debris destroyed a private house and damaged several commercial buildings, leading to large fires across different areas of Kyiv.

In Kharkiv, Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported that one person was wounded in the northeastern city. Additionally, there was damage to residential and commercial properties in the central Dnipropetrovsk region, and military sources indicated damage in the Odesa region in the south.

The attacks highlight the ongoing strain in Ukraine, with both civilians and infrastructure bearing the brunt of the conflict.
