Saudi Arabia has sharply criticised Iran over what it described as attacks targeting several Gulf and Arab countries, warning that the situation could have “serious consequences.”
In a statement released on Saturday, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs labelled the alleged actions as Iranian aggression, calling them a clear violation of sovereignty.
The Kingdom accused Iran of breaching the sovereignty of the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and Jordan.
Saudi Arabia affirmed its full solidarity with the affected countries and stated that it is ready to employ all its capabilities to support any measures they decide to take.
The statement also warned of “serious consequences if such actions continue.”
It emphasised that repeated violations of sovereignty and international law could threaten regional peace and stability.
The Kingdom called on the international community to condemn the alleged attacks and take firm action against what it described as Iranian violations that jeopardise security in the region.
