Security Forces Rescue 21 Kidnap Victims in Katsina

Security agents have rescued 21 kidnapped victims and arrested four suspects at Dutsen Dargaza in the Danmusa Local Government Area of Katsina State.

This was made known in a statement released on Saturday by the Katsina State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Dr. Nasir Mua’zu.

The statement read, “Under the leadership of the Department of State Services (DSS), in collaboration with the military, the police, and members of the vigilante group, four suspected criminals were arrested and are currently undergoing investigation.”

The rescued victims include 16 women, two men, and three babies who were kidnapped from the house of the District Head of Bayero in Musawa Local Government Area and other places.

The statement further revealed that the operation was specifically aimed at the hideout of a terrorist, Kamilu Chiroma, popularly known as Buzaru, at Dutsen Dargaza.

The statement also revealed that the suspects would be charged to court after the conclusion of investigations.
