President Bola Tinubu is expected to arrive Abuja on Sunday as he concludes his official visit to China and a stopover in the United Kingdom.
On August 29, Tinubu had departed Abuja for Beijing, China via a stopover in Dubai, UAE.
He arrived Beijing on September 1 to commence his official tour of China.
Formal reception into the President’s visit started with a meeting between the President and President Xi Jinping in the Great Hall of the People on September 2.
President Tinubu was given a salute of 21 guns. He also reviewed the guard.
Meanwhile, in a statement signed by his media aide, Bayo Onanuga, “five Memoranda of Understanding were signed between Nigeria and China at the meeting.”
On the next day, President Tinubu again led his team to another round of bilateral talks with Chinese Premier Li Qiang.
On the same evening, President Xi Jinping and wife Peng Liyuan welcomed him to the Welcoming Banquet and Cultural Gala Performance on the eve of FOCAC Summit.
The President left Beijing for London, where he spent several days.
It also involves meetings with King Charles III on Thursday over the issue of climate change.
