Trump Blocks Elon Musk from Attending Classified China Briefing

The United States President, Donald Trump, reportedly blocked Elon Musk from attending a classified government meeting on China.

According to sources cited by Axios, the decision came after a leak regarding Musk’s potential participation in the high-level briefing.

Two Pentagon officials, Dan Caldwell and Darin Selnick, were suspended by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth following an internal investigation into the source of the leak.

Reports indicate that President Trump was furious when he learned that Musk had been slated to attend the meeting. “What the f**k is Elon doing there? Make sure he doesn’t go,” he was quoted as saying to staff.

The president is believed to have objected to Musk’s involvement due to the billionaire’s substantial business dealings in China. Trump reportedly saw this as a potential conflict of interest.

The incident has drawn attention to Musk’s frequent presence in Washington and his role within the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which some insiders claim has stirred tensions among senior White House officials.

Amid concerns over national security and confidentiality, the meeting was ultimately called off by Secretary Hegseth at the direction of the president.
