U.S. President Donald Trump’s approval rating has remained steady since early March 2025, according to a recent DailyMail tracking poll.
The latest findings revealed Trump’s approval rating is currently at 49 percent.
The tracking poll, conducted by J.L. Partners and first shared on the Welcome to MAGAland podcast, surveyed 1,019 registered voters between March 25 and March 27.
The 49 percent approval rating matches earlier March results but shows a five-point decline from a February poll when Trump enjoyed peak popularity among Americans.
Kelly Laco, executive editor of politics at Daily Mail, commented on the poll, highlighting that Trump is “still very popular among Americans, particularly Republicans.”
“His approval is still very high for his second term,” she added.
The poll comes amid ongoing international controversies surrounding Trump’s tariff policies, including recent tariffs imposed on countries like Canada, China, and Mexico.
The latest proposed tariffs—a 25 percent levy on automobiles, scheduled to begin April 2, 2025—have garnered support domestically but sparked criticism internationally, particularly from Canada and Germany.
