The newly appointed Inspector-General of Police, Tunji Disu, has officially arrived at Aso Rock for his swearing-in ceremony.
This follows a report from GENLOADED on Tuesday, confirming that President Bola Tinubu chose Disu to step into the role as the successor to the outgoing IGP, Kayode Egbetokun.
Disu takes the helm as a veteran officer, bringing with him a wealth of experience gained over more than thirty years of dedicated service within the Nigeria Police Force.
His journey to the top began in Lagos Island, where he was born on April 13, 1966. Since joining the Force on May 18, 1992, he has spent decades working his way up, rising steadily through the ranks to reach this professional milestone today.
