US Claims Russia Gave Iran Intel to Target American Forces

United States officials have alleged that Russia is supplying Iran with targeting intelligence to strike American forces amid the escalating crisis in the Middle East.

According to a report by The Washington Post, the alleged support from Russia indicates that the rapidly widening conflict could now involve one of the United States’ major nuclear-armed rivals with significant intelligence capabilities.

Officials further claimed that since the conflict began on Saturday, Russia has been sharing information about the locations of U.S. military assets with Iran.

Among the American assets reportedly exposed are warships and military aircraft, which have been linked to a number of deadly attacks.

The Embassy of Russia in Washington, D.C. has not yet responded to the allegation.

However, it may be recalled that Moscow earlier called for an end to the war, describing the situation as an “unprovoked act of armed aggression.”
