War: Israel Launches Fresh Airstrikes on Tehran

Israeli military forces early Friday launched another round of strikes on Tehran, the capital of Iran.

In a message shared on Telegram, the Israeli Defense Forces said they had begun a wide-scale wave of attacks targeting infrastructure belonging to what it described as the Iranian “terror regime” in Tehran.

Iranian state television later confirmed that explosions were heard in the capital.

Meanwhile, the Voice of America (VOA) also shared a video on its platform that reportedly captured explosions in Tehran at about 5:30 a.m. local time.

The airstrikes carried out by Israel in eastern parts of Tehran were said to be particularly intense, with the blasts reportedly shaking homes across nearby neighborhoods.

There were also reports of explosions near the Iranian city of Kermanshah, an area known to host several missile bases.

According to the United States, Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit stealth bombers dropped dozens of heavy bombs overnight from Thursday into Friday, targeting deeply buried ballistic missile launch facilities.
