Donald Trump claimed on Sunday that United States military forces have “destroyed and sunk” at least nine Iranian naval ships.
In a Facebook post, he also stated that Iranian naval headquarters had suffered significant damage since strikes began on Saturday.
The post read: “I have just been informed that we have destroyed and sunk 9 Iranian Naval Ships, some of them relatively large and important.”
GENLOADED reports that this development comes less than 24 hours after Trump’s airstrikes targeted leaders in Iran.
Trump added that the U.S. military is “going after the rest,” emphasizing that “they will soon be floating at the bottom of the sea, also!”
