Yobe Welcomes New Police Commissioner, Emmanuel Ado

The Yobe State Police Command has welcomed its newly appointed Commissioner of Police, Emmanuel Ado Christopher, who officially assumed office on Thursday.

This development was confirmed in a statement issued in Damaturu by the command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Dungus Abdulkarim.

According to the statement, CP Emmanuel Ado Christopher, who hails from Rijau Local Government Area of Niger State, becomes the 33rd Commissioner of Police in Yobe State since the establishment of the command in 1991.

“CP Ado is committed to serving the people of Yobe State and ensuring their safety and security.”

The command further highlighted the new CP’s strong background in critical areas of law enforcement.

“His expertise in community policing, law enforcement, tactics, investigation, and strategic leadership will be invaluable assets in achieving this goal,” the statement added.

As he begins his tenure, the police command is calling on residents to support the new leadership and work collaboratively to maintain peace and order in the state.

The statement concluded with an appeal for public cooperation, emphasizing the importance of unity in achieving a safer Yobe.
