Zamfara FRSC Deploys 526 Personnel for Easter Celebration

The Zamfara State Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has mobilized 526 personnel and 13 operational vehicles, including two ambulances, to ensure smooth travel during the Easter celebrations in the state.

This announcement was made in a statement by the command’s spokesperson, Isah Aliyu, which was shared with news outlets in Gusau, the state capital.

According to the statement, the Sector Commander, Tijjani Illiyasu, reassured the public that the celebrations would be free of major incidents, with plans in place to monitor activities before, during, and after the celebrations.

“The Command will continue to collaborate with other security agencies to gather and share information, in order to prevent potential threats to operational activities across the state,” Illiyasu stated.

The statement further highlighted that FRSC is working closely with key stakeholders to raise awareness and educate fleet operators about safe driving practices, with the goal of creating an accident-free environment.
