FIFA has announced that the winners of the 2025 Club World Cup will earn up to $125 million in prize money.
This update was confirmed by FIFA President Gianni Infantino in an official statement released on Wednesday.
Earlier this month, FIFA disclosed a total prize fund of $1 billion for the prestigious tournament, which is set to take place in the United States from June 14 to July 13, 2025.
Around half of the $1 billion total prize pool will be distributed among all 32 participating clubs, with amounts determined by their sporting achievements and commercial performance.
Consequently, major clubs such as Manchester City and Real Madrid are likely to receive larger shares compared to smaller clubs, based on a distribution model developed in collaboration with the European Club Association.
Additionally, an amount of $475 million will be allocated based on the performance of teams during the competition.
Clubs can increase their earnings depending on their number of victories across potentially seven matches, with the champion capable of securing the maximum reward of $125 million.
