Amorim Plans Summer Clear-Out, Four Stars to Be Sold

Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim has decided to sell four of his players in preparation for a summer clear-out.

The quartet of Marcus Rashford, Antony and Tyrell Malacia are all to be offloaded after they were loaned out to Aston Villa, Real Betis and PSV, respectively during the January transfer window.

The Sun says Amorim is ready to release all three loanees and is also ready to offload wayward goalkeeper Andre Onana.

Recall that Onana joined the Red Devils from Inter Milan in 2023 after only guiding the Serie A club to the Champions League final.

Unfortunately, the Cameroonian international did not win the Champions League as Inter lost to Manchester City in the final.

Onana was rated as one of the world’s best ball-playing goalkeepers but has underperformed at Man United and received a lot of criticism.

It is said that Saudi Arabian clubs have expressed interest in signing the 28-year-old former Ajax goalkeeper.

The report also added that Amorim’s side are reportedly considering Royal Antwerp’s Senne Lammens and Lille’s Lucas Chevalier as the possible replacement for Onana at Old Trafford.

Lammens and Chevalier have also been linked with Man United’s Premier League title rivals Manchester City, who are planning for life after Ederson in the wake of the Brazilian’s struggles this term.
