Arsenal set three new records on Sunday after defeating Chelsea 2-1 in the Premier League at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners secured the win with goals from William Saliba and Jurrien Timber.
According to OptaJoe, this victory marked the ninth time in the Premier League this season that Arsenal scored a match-winning goal from a corner, the most by any team in a single campaign.
This achievement allows Mikel Arteta’s side to surpass Manchester United, who had eight such goals in the 2012-13 season.
Additionally, Arsenal’s 16 goals from corners in the Premier League this season are now tied for the most ever by a team in a single campaign, alongside Oldham Athletic in 1992-93, West Bromwich Albion in 2016-17, and Arsenal themselves in the 2023-24 season.
The win over Chelsea also means Arsenal have gone 1-0 up from a corner on nine occasions this season, equalling the record for a single campaign set by Southampton in 1994-95.
Arsenal will look to continue their strong form when they face Brighton in the Premier League on Wednesday.
