Mason Greenwood of Manchester United and Joao Felix are reportedly being considered for trade by Atletico Madrid, per the Spanish website todofichajes.
Felix’s status at Atletico Madrid is still unknown following his season-long loan at Barcelona.
The switch was suggested by Andrea Berta, director of football at Atletico.
During his season of loan with Getafe, Greenwood made 36 appearances for the Spanish team, tallying 10 goals and dishing out six assists.
Despite his achievements, Greenwood’s £40 million value is set to be sold by Manchester United because he became embroiled in a protracted legal battle involving allegations of sexual assault.
According to reports, Greenwood is worth £40 million.
