Arsenal have agreed to terms with Bologna defender Riccardo Calafiori.
Calafiori was offered a five-year contract with the Gunners that runs until June 2029.
The Premier League is now in discussions with Bologna over a €50 million transfer price. FC Basel is likely to get fifty percent of the transaction.
Fabrizio Romano, a football transfer analyst, posted on X (formerly twitter) that Arsenal had agreed on the terms of Riccardo Calafiori’s contract, which is effective until June 2029.
“Arsenal and Bologna are debating the fee, which remains around €50 million.
“FC Basel would receive 50% of the sale over €4.5 million — they’re also aware of talks ongoing, nothing sealed yet.”
